Pulsed Stimulation Therapy
NU-V3 CRANIAL NERVE STIMULATION THERAPY
Nu-V3 Pulsed Stimulation Therapy stimulates the peripheral auricular nerves through a safe, generated ‘pulsed’ micro-current. The auricular (ear) area is the only organ of the body, which has access to the most significant cranial nerves that may have a positive effect on the symptoms of pain, anxiety, depression and sleeplessness.
Nu-V3 utilizes a micro-signal sent through the cranial nerves to the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and vagus nerve, assisting it to regain the proper balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. This empowers the body’s ANS to do what it was originally designed to do through:
- Release of endorphins
- Activation of the brain stem
- Enhancement of brain activity
- Increased Blood Flow
- Immune system balance

AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM DYSFUNCTION
The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is comprised of the Parasympathetic and Sympathetic systems, which are typically in balance with one another.
Pain, depression, anxiety and sleeplessness create an imbalance between the Parasympathetic and Sympathetic systems.
Nu-V3 helps to bring the ANS back into balance, from dysfunctional back to functional and provides significant relief of these symptoms.
CENTRAL SENSITIZATION SYNDROME
Central sensitization syndrome (CSS) is a condition of the nervous system that is associated with the development and maintenance of chronic pain. When central sensitization occurs, the nervous system goes through a process called “wind-up” and gets regulated in a persistent state of high reactivity. This persistent, or regulated, state of reactivity subsequently comes to maintain pain even after the initial injury might be healed.
Antecedent factors can also play a role in the development of central sensitization. The onset of pain is often associated with subsequent development of conditions such as depression, insomnia, fear-avoidance, anxiety and other stressors. The stress of these responses can, in turn, further exacerbate the reactivity of the nervous system, leading to central sensitization. Nu-V3 therapy can help “wind-down” the nervous and treat CSS.
TREATMENT PROTOCOL
- Device lasts up to 14 days
- Device is non-invasive and does not require continuous treatment
- Typically 12 treatments the first year with significant reductions in the number of treatments thereafter
- Significant relief can last for months without further treatments
